Holiday Pie Update
First of all, a big thanks to all the parents who bought baked goods and order pies at our Parent-Teacher Conference bake sales-- we managed to raise another $700, putting our total earnings towards this year's conferences to over $1000!
Still interested in ordering a pie from BMUN for the holidays, but missed the bake sale?
All pies will be delivered on or before December 23.

Sunday Fundraising
In the Model UN tradition of never, ever sleeping, we held a very successful, very early 8:30AM bake sale on the town common this past Sunday. Most of us had stayed up late baking pies and cookies, but everyone was bright-eyed and bushy-tailed while setting up shop and doling out baked goods to churchgoers.

We also took orders for our Holiday Pie Fundraiser. Do you dread baking pies for the holiday season? Place an order for an apple, pecan or pumpkin pie and we'll deliver it to your doorstep on December 23rd for the low, low price of $12 for apple or pumpkin and $15 for pecan. We will have sign up sheets available tomorrow, Tuesday 11/22, and next Wednesday, 11/30, at our booth during parent-teacher conferences at Bromfield.

All in all, the bake sale was EXTREMELY successful. Thank you to everyone who baked, bought, or volunteered-- we managed to raise $500! Most of it was probably due to our spectacular advertising, which involved waving signs like maniacs at every passing car.

In addition, we held a fundraiser at the Chili's restaurant in Leominster that same night. We received 10% of the profit made from every diner who presented one of our Model UN flyers. Another big thank you to everyone who participated-- we raised $170! -- your support for the Bromfield Model UN is eternally appreciated.

Who We Are
As they say in the MUN world, welcome, delegates!
In addition to a rigorous academic program, ridiculously good cafeteria food, and many a North Face backpack, The Bromfield School (a true world of its own, population 700) is home to our Model United Nations club. If you're still asking "What in the name of Ban Ki Moon is Model United Nations?," head on over to the What is Model UN? link.
Here at BMUN, we drag ourselves out of bed at 7AM every Wednesday to debate, deliberate, and discuss global politics and international relations. Every so often we hold a mock model, and, armed with cups of coffee and sheer determination, we sometimes manage to pass a resolution by the 7:45 homeroom bell.
Follow our progress as we take on the huge endeavor of sending our club members not only to our all-time favorite conference, HMUN, in Boston, but halfway around to the world to SPIMUN in St. Petersburg. You'll laugh, you'll cry, and you might even learn to say "Where is bathroom?" in Russian.
